Caitlyn hurricane interaction is OK.

I mean...she is known for her lategame strength. Headshots in lategame makes up her lack of a attackspeed steroid. What is wrong is of course is her early traps that she can set down after you are being cced. Working the priming time should make her less oppresive early and late with a single stone.

...And I love my shiv hurricane build so dont take it away please. Its just so much fun.

Shiv+RFC have better synergy now (or as of the last patch), so I feel like people might shift to that without feeling like they're giving up so much in terms of headshot procs.

This has not been the topic for quite a while, but shivs damage is stupid high now. I think it is a matter of time it would come to light.

This has not been the topic for quite a while, but shivs damage is stupid high now. I think it is a matter of time it would come to light.

They lowered alot of the original damage when they tweaked the crit items last i checked and its mainly since 'crits' always does alot of damage so having a crit'able chain lightning is going to of course have impact, especially so with Infinity Edge, unless shiv's on a special 'can't have its effect damage modified by another item's effect.

Basically the 2 item combo makes it more viable then picking up phantom dancer along with one or the other and be some vroom'ster machine, where instead you can now chip damage a target from a 'safe' distance(especially if they are sitting on their own minions while defending a tower till they get salty enough to chase you (ending up with you 'kite poking with rapid fire, especially if you have a slow effect you can apply on them with the auto like Ashe') or they get forced to back 'way' up, giving you enough space to rapid fire cannon poke the tower whenever the charge is up and keep the lane 'very' clean thanks to shivv+RFC combo letting you charge super fast and super damage poke in the process.

Plus its more of a matter that item 3087 and item 3094 both deal 'bonus magical damage' onto the target while shiv will chain bounce magical damage, meaning even if a fighter/tank built high armor to counter AD champions, the poke and magic damage that the 2 item combo gives will let you poke said 'fighter/tanks' so they have a good dealt of health chipped off before they get around to 'engaging' you, especially if you can repeat the process multiple times in kiting them.

Though it might really help if LoL actually adopted a better 'tactic' to assuring that 'perfect builds' that give stupid resistance to AD and AP and high health and the 'user' can still deal stupid damage is alot less possible and it becomes more 'favorable' to invest in either armor or magic resist and not both at once and do a little more work on cutting down the health stacking 'pudge lord' building champions.

Either way a 2 item combination that only work on specific champions(namely ADCs in this matter) is much better then the shenigans that a champion like Yasuo gets because he only need 2 items for full crit (which as a added bonus, means stacking crit items after the 2nd is going to be a bad idea for him since it would be a waste of 'crit value').

Still want 1 damage, full tank builds on LeeSin and Hecarim to be addressed and finally have them actually pull a few more plugs on item 3071 to get it out of the hands of ADCs like Lucian and MF. At least the 'blue build' Ezreal is only getting armor out of the deal and making use of a slow field for EZ harass and CD and mana to keep it going.

Having damage, high health, 20% CDR and even if they 'nerfed' the armor shred, 24% is still going to have a annoying impact with the combination of stats and 'chase power' the item grants too much of. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

IMO the problem period with Hurricane on Cait isn't lategame but midgame where there is still lots of fighting in lane and around minion waves which let her refresh it excessively quickly. I would have no problem if Hurricane still prepped for headshot on-hit against champions on the secondary bolts but only generated off the primary shot against minions and monsters. Conceptually it is still stupid that indiscriminately hosing down a crowd lets you headshot someone more easily but from a gameplay perspective if the enemy team clumps up enough to get multiple champion hit by hurricane then they are just getting what they deserve.
