You know what confuses me? How people are complaining AD casters work well with AD caster items.

Are all AD casters. AD casters are a subset of AD champions whose damage comes mostly from abilities instead of basic attacks.

What this means is that these champions can work well with basic attacks, but their kits are mostly designed for their damage to come from their ABILITIES. so does it not make sense that an AD caster build would work very well on them instead of the traditional AD carry build? AD itemization this season tried to homogenize AD caster builds into regular AD carry builds, but since AD itemization in general is so great, AD caster builds are great too.

Jhin 's main damage comes from his 4th basic attack not is abilities. He is far from a caster.

MF has AS steroid and her Q can crit, the DPS build deals way more dmg. Jhin hits hard, but has low AS, but he is not a real AD caster - you don't see him build like an assasin. Lucian - works as DPS and as caster. Varus has unreliable steroid, so DPS build is worse.

Fixed that.

The difference between an AP caster and an AD caster is that an AP caster's damage comes mainly from abilities, whereas an AD caster's damage comes both from abilities and auto-attacks.

thats more a result of AD being intrinsically broken though. As AD caster varus i rarely auto attack unless its to kill.

It has nothing, nothing at all to do with AD being "broken". It is simply the nature of the stat.

If you're looking for a stat that just strengthens abilities, that is AP.
