If someone reaches 500k mastery on a champion, they should be rewarded for that.
I don't think it would be hard to code a golden re-color of a champion's base skin and give it out for free to 500k mastery earners.
Might actually make people have a reason to care about mastery. Consider it a repayment for the exorbitant amounts of BE you have to spend on the banners.

Yes, it would take a considerable amount of time to make over 100 skins like so, but they could just release them in batches as opposed to all at once.

ViciousSummoner1 votesErr you do realize how long it takes to get lv 10 with 500k+ right? That's like over 1k+ games with just 1 single champion. That's the equivalent of 1 season's worth of games. If you look at it realistically that's nearly 1 year's worth of play time for a normal skin that includes a recall animation and nothing more. It's like an extra victorious skin at most. Which btw is also completely free requiring you to actually do way, way less. The only difference between the two would be that you can continuously unlock mastery skins. Again realistically it would take like 100 years to unlock every single mastery skin. Which I doubt anyone could do unless they lived to be like 140 and League somehow never dies until then.
