Why the fuck does Vel'Koz get to start with 2 stacks

Lucky··1 votes·546 views

Zyra has to wait

Vi has to wait

Heimer has to wait

Akali, Corki, and Teemo have to wait

BUT VELKOZ DOESNT

Why is it a problem though? xD

His W isn't a problem unless he hits you with a stun or slow. It's mostly used to clear waves while getting a tiny bit of poke in if the lane opponent is stupid enough to get hit by it.

Ok, but they do totally different things. His most important spell is his W so he kinda needs it at 2 stacks. It's his farming tool AND his poke.

They all do totally different things, yet all start at 1 stack. EXCEPT VELKOZ.

??? Do you even understand what I'm saying? This is only talking about when he puts the first point in W, the importance of the spell barely matters.

Unless you're saying that Vel'koz is OP or Zyra is UP and this specific change would bring them in line, why does it matter that it's inconsistent?

As a matter of fact, if your main shtick is the inconsistency, there many more mechanics out there that are MUCH more important and MUCH more inconsistent.

Karma can shield minions while Lulu and Lee Sin can't anymore. Soraka can heal minions. Nidalee can't. These are all very important because it means that they can preserve a wave much more easily with the presence of a cannon minion, especially with high CDR. This isn't minor. This can literally turn a 8 minion wave with no cannon minion into a 14 minion wave WITH a cannon minion. That will decimate a turret.

Janna can shield turrets. No one else can. It really makes no sense why she is the only one able to shield turrets. You can call it her niche, but it's about as much of a niche as Karma being the only one who can shield minions.

There are also PLENTY of onhit aa modifier spells that: Reset the timer but are not consumed (Morde Q) Reset the time and affect towers as if they were a normal unit (Nasus Q)

And let's not get started with the number of spells that don't proc spell effects, proc both spell and onhit effects, and the autoattack modifiers that proc spell effects.

Poppy's Q deals 100% magic damage, procs SpV, and can crit. Let that roll around in your head for a moment.

This game is plagued with very powerful but very unnoticeable inconsistencies. It is much more important to know whether Jax's R heals him through spell vamp or not than to make sure every single ammo user starts with 1 ammo, not because they need it to function or be balanced, but because of an arbitrary rule.

To hell with balance, everyone much function exactly the same!

Because vel koz's isnt as powerful.

Because consistency should be affected by current balance?

Also Akali is fucking trash right now.

Cause Velkoz is smart enough to come prepared.

Heimer doesn't realize he needs turrets until he realizes the supply and demand of turrets. Zyra needs to grow her seeds. Vi needs to let her fists become prepared for punching. Akali has to stretch first, Corki needs to wait for gunpowder to settle before packing it, and Teemo uses Grade A Truffles for his Mushrooms resulting to having to look around in the under bush for them.

Or cause his design revolves on hitting targets 3 times, so, unlike the others, he needs those stacks right away to actually do damage early game. Idk

Zyras design revolves around her plants, she needs those stacks right away to actually do damage early game kappa
