Please reduce the combine cost of bloodthirster

I remember a time when this item only cost 3000 gold. Then Riot nerfed the hell out of it, and made it cost even more. We have devourer that stacks indefinitely. Why can't we have bloodthirster do this as well? I have hated the new bloodthirster ever since it came out, but I hate even more that the cost also went up after the rework.
