A Potential Fix for Elo Hell

I have come up with a solution that will get rid of Elo hell.

Each division, from bronze to gold would have a cap on the number of games played before the player is automatically moved to a higher league. For example, a player that's played 1000 games in bronze should be put in silver, and a player that's played 2000 games in silver should be moved to gold. Moving higher should take somewhere around 10,000 games but it's safe to say it would be impossible to implement with elo - decay.

Keep in mind, your MMR is unaffected by the league you're in. Even if you've reached gold you can still be matched with bronze players.

So.....what that would accomplish? now the rank woudlnt be a factor of how good you are but hwo often do you play. That woudl make badges a shame badge, yeah you have no life hence you are plat

I guess it is a nice "reward" to players. Still literally keeps you in ELO hell, but you can get end of season rewards. Also means people can't just say F Bronze, they would have to say F everyone.

This kills the value of high elo tiers. Sorry but no, this won't fix elo hell. It would just ruin ranked. Bad idea overall and needs to be scrapped.

Sorry to be blunt but there's no softer way to put it.

It would make bronze to gold a entire elo hell.

Nah, "bronze" players would still be playing at low ELO. They would just have a Gold Rank to show for nothing besides rewards/"pride."

Why now rank and matches aren't completely connected anyways.

No, you shouldn't be rewarded for sucking dick at this game.
