I don't understand this Cho'Gath Texture Rebalance. (Nightmare + Gentleman Cho'Gath)

Originally, Nightmare Cho'Gath was a simple re-color of Classic Cho'Gath, and Gentleman Cho'Gath was Classic Cho'Gath with a Suit, Top Hat and Monocle.

So why, after Classic Cho'Gath's Texture Rebalance was done so nicely, are the current iterations of those skins not also recolors of current Classic Cho'Gath that's on the PBE? Classic Cho'Gath looks so good now but Nightmare and Gentleman Cho'Gath really only got changes to their color palette.

Cho still has a square butt.

Ryze and Taric pizza feet are getting cleaned up with these Texture updates, and loch ness cho doesn't have a boxy problem with hit butt, so it's obvious riot is capable of... but unwilling to show attention to detail when it comes to cho.

these artistic failures become even more obvious as he grows larger, it's like they designed the model in it's small form, and expected it to scale up, rather than designing it in it's large form and shrinking it (har har har, feel free to steal this super basic computer art trick riot.)

In all seriousness, I know good and well that riot already knows things like this, and probably has much better methods for preserving quality with size scaling... They just continue to prove time and time again, that they just don't really care when it comes to this particular champion.

Texture rebalances of this kind are solely to match the champion's pallette to the pallete of the new Rift.

Which means they had to redo Nightmare's color palette anyway. All they had to do was invert the Red from Base Cho'Gath to Blue and then alter that texture's color palette. The texture update/rebalance for Gentleman Cho would have been even more simple and would simply have required Riot to put the accessories onto the updated base model.
