Well, a lot of people remember the days where Nidalee was beyond broken, might it be with the invisible nearly-oneshotting spears or the Nidalee AD dominating toplane. Times where Nidalee is meta are rarely fun times for non-Nidalee mains.

Exactly.

People don't want her back. It is already a pain to have other champions that are broken on the metagame, people don't want Nidalee to be broken once again.

Yeah. I don't play Nidalee, but she probably does need buffs. I just don't know what you could really do with her that wouldn't make her really unfun to play against.

one of the things that made her a bit less potent in her Role performance was how she engages enemies in combat. In human form she needs to lay or trap or land a spear for her longer engage or time coming out of a bush right for that speed burst engage I think her passive should also activate off a basic attack instead of just abilities. as well as maybe put the armor and MR buff back to her cougar from not a lot but enough so that it makes a difference in form changing and engaging. these would be the light adjustments that I would make to try her changes in tactics.

her hunt bonus damage applying off basic attacks would instantly make her the most broken champion to ever exist. And clearly you never played vs bruiser nid when got resists or you'd know thats an equally terrible idea.

I've watched someone lose 700 life to a 2/6/3 Nidalee spear. They do a stupid amount of damage and have some of the lowest interactivity beyond being good at dodgeball.

Well tbh it's not like this is exclusive for Nidalee. I can't ever remember a time where a champion being strong due to a meta was favored by anybody other than those who played the strong champion.

Also idk why it would be a good thing to keep her weak just because of the circle jerk on this board. You act like riot balancing the game around what people like on these boards would some how lead to better balance or a better game.

I always preferred "Cancer Cat" or "Cancer Cougar" but that one's good too. The fact that one champion has so many cancer-related names is probably a sign that they're not considered 'healthy' for the game.

There has literally never been a time where Nidalee managed to be strong and healthy at the same time, and every single time Riot tries to fix her it only gets worse.

Actually, she WAS healthy and fine until they added the delay time to her Q. The win rate OP is sourcing is her middle lane stats, which at some points are so absurdly low champion.gg doesn't even register them.

By delaying her Q, it brought her once kinda low win rate in mid lane to a complete trashy one, making her completely unplayable against anyone with a half decent reaction time.

Nidalee does need buffs. I say this because I can dodge skillshots.

she just takes skill to do well with and since most of the community umm isn't the best unless you main her yeah your going to struggle that is how she and lee sin should be

i went as nami mid vs nidalee, ended up with a score of 6 / 1 / 2 and nidalee 0/4/1 its easy to dodge a spear when you see it coming

I'm all for Nidalee jungle, just don't destroy her mid lane game for it. Also, Nid jungle is way harder to deal with considering you can't see the spears coming.

To be honest, I haven't seen a "Nerf Riven" thread recently. The topic pops up sometimes in other "Nerf <X Champion>" threads, but the notion is either ignored or shut down relatively quickly.

See, thats the thing though. There are less direct riven threads being made because she's being played less due to her current balance state putting her into a bad spot, and yet... there are still plenty of people who get triggered by reading the word 'riven' and go legendary on their keyboards trying to spam that downvote on anyone who tries to stick up for her or mention that she's not good right now.

It's moved on from active aggression to reflex aggression.

Everytime riot tries to "fix" things they either get completly destroyed ( morde) or get ridicilously overpowered ( gangplank or fiora). I am all for nidalee changes but if you let riot do the job then we can either permabann her or she will stay as useless as she is.
