It's a bit frustrating when you're roaming around collecting chimes with 3+ bonus movespeed stacks but then you see a blue ward and have to choose to either leave it there or lose a huge amount of movespeed simply to aa a ward as you pass by.

Another way to solve this across the board would be to make it so that attacking wards doesn't count as being "in combat"

Apostle of Light1 votesMy reasoning is that if they're basically doing the same thing for Mobi boots, why not do it for Bard because it's basically the same function? I don't think the point is so you have to make an inconvenient decision. It just happens because attacking a ward counts as being in combat, which it seems like they want to change.
Battlecast Sona6 votesit's a false decision though. 100% of the time you need to clear that ward, and it feels bad to lose your MS for it. It's really a trap - you don't ever want to leave wards up (especially blue wards), but you HAVE to lose your bonus MS to hit them.
If they can feel okay making it so Sona's powerchord isn't consumed or mobi boots don't count as in combat, I don't think it's too farfetched to ask for Bard's bonus MS to function the same way.
