Dark Star would be a very fitting skin for Xerath. I'm happy for Jhin, Karma, and Shaco mains, but I'm beginning to wonder if Xerath will ever get a new skin.

I'm actually incredibly surprised that Karma was chosen. Not to offend anyone who mains or plays her, that skin just doesn't really fit her.
I'm gonna give that an upvote. I do think Shaco needed that skin. Karma wasn't in the worst spot but I think it's okay she got it. Jhin is Jhin and popularity blablabla, it's totally understandable.
However, I understand the bitterness you must feel right now. I know it feels bad, so yeah, take my upvote. I don't main Xerath, but I main Syndra, and from a powerful being to a powerful being, we must support each other!
Yeah, I'm upvoting this. Dark Star is such a perfect opportunity to give skins to champions who haven't had them in a long time. Xerath, Rek'Sai, Vel'Koz, even Skarner could work. I know that Riot's trying to play it safe this year because of financial reasons, and I honestly think Karma is a better fit for Dark Star than Orianna, but like...come on. You should have given Shaco a Battle Boss skin for the Arcade event and done a surprise comeback champion for Dark Star instead. Come to think of it, I have a feeling that Shaco and Zilean might be the only champions with big skin gaps getting a skin this year.
At least I can have a bit of hope for Santa Ornn come Christmastime.
EDIT: By the way, I do want to clarify that I don't think these are bad choices for Event Horizon, but I'm particularly disappointed that this was the new Shaco skin instead of saving him for something even more fitting, and instead having a non-moneymaker champion with a large skin gap that wasn't already confirmed to be getting a skin this year. That aside, though, I do think that these will be good skins. I just wish that Riot would take a few more risks lately, especially given a couple of their recent choices for Battle Academia.

I honestly wasn't expecting Dark Star skins this year, let alone the ones we got.
Honestly, though, if Xerath is getting a skin this year, its probably Battle Boss. Its probably not the skin Xerath mains want, but that's just what seems most likely to me.
I'm getting just a wee bit annoyed that jhin is getting it instead, I would've traded jhin for xerath any day honestly. Jhin is getting skins CRAZY fast for how new he still kinda is.
I hope they have a great skin for him planned, worthy of the wait, the theme of Dark Star fits Xerath so well. There are Xerath mains who aren't spending money on the game, even if they are few and far between.
Look at the bright side, the Dark Star skins are the worst skins in the game, basically just spamming one colour for every last thing so it is hard to make out any details when actually playing the game.
Then again, Dark Star would probably actually work on Xerath...
Honestly, Dark Star is good for Xerath, but not Dark Cosmic, which seems significantly more pressed towards a type of intergalactic Royal entities. They definitely seem connected to Dark Star though, as it's pretty explicit with the themees, but Dark Star seems significantly more Monstrous.

Even when the thematic is perfect. It’s so blatant now that the video they did about how they care about every1 and try to do the best thematics is just a pile of bull fertilizer.
Heck even Taric would have been a better choice.

Sorry but Shaco doesnt fit with that skin. Also he is an outdated stuff champ which makes it not as good on him. They should have given it to Morde or someone with a more modern look that could utilize it to its full potential. Feel the same way about Orianna as those are the 2 weakest DS skins. Also I thought DS was just gonna be for the Darkin Void and Shadow Isles. It would be cool having this skin line be their evil team up thing. But Karma and Jhin work well here too.
To me Dark Star Karma is like Dark Star Jarvan IV all over again.
Shaco was approaching 1500 days without a skin so I am happy about him but I do agree Xerath fits the theme better.
Also this is coming from Shaco main, so if I am not biased why is Riot biased?
