99% of the people who don't build the exact mobafire, probuilds, or championgg build aren't ignorant of the items, those builds, and their power. They are curious about the power of the other items which they are building.
Unless you've tried building the items which they are on that champion, then you really can't say for sure if their decision is a good or bad one.

But yes, experimenting with builds is not illigal. Unless it is building ap on Zed, 6 pairs of boots, or anything else that can be considered nothing but trolling, leave it the hell alone. Even if it doesn't work out the game that you see it in, it might be viable. I have a friend that plays ad crit bard top. It is hilariously awesome. He's made Rivens rage quit before because he could insta kill them with just one q and a few auto attacks. One game he was counter picked and the enemy took Yasuo top, who wrecked him. Our mid flamed him all game long for trolling, even though he was taking a viable build that had worked in the past, he couldn't see that because it was only one game.

No..Gnar benefits from the stats and the active shuts down singed a bunch. Morgana needs to buy sightstone and an income item first. By the time she gets it it would be too late. The whole point is to get zz early to force him to stay in lane. You lost because you were stubborn and selfish.

Hello??? Gnar is a mid game power spike champ. If I waste my mid game spike on an item like Zzrot or Banner then I will not effective as a bruiser. Would Singed be delayed a little? Sure but I wouldn't be able to split against him as he'd probably have Rylai's and Zzrot and I would lose the kitability that Cleaver or Mallet gives.

Bots are a horrible way to determine "the power of the other items", because for most people with decent skill, they are a waste of time.
There's no way to find out if something is strong unless you try it (or run all the numbers, but let's be real, if you ain't pro, you ain't doing that).

After killing him about 5 times, I'd thought I'd tell him he should probably be picking up defensive items rather rushing straight for the essence reaver. He told me he got his advice from a mastery 7 Xin Zhao so what do I know?
That essence reaver and a bf was the only item he managed to pick up in the game, he had no boots,

Jungle Lux God1 votesA while back I was playing Rammus jungle and my Vayne ADC wouldn't stop telling me that I should build thornmail.
Keep in mind that was also a game where I went 6/0/14 and was effectively unkillable, and was my best game all season. Not only could I go in and out in a 1v5, but I could go into the jungle and full heal off jungle camps afterwards. I had no need for a thornmail because I was so stupidly tanky, yet once I got to 5 items the Vayne would complain that I still didn't have a thornmail.

Nevertheless, it was wrong of vayne to complain, she should have been polited and not asked you more than once.

Hey, random question- I supported a Jhin to 12/0/20 and he got an A+ - what's your secret? What kind of KDA do you have to hit for a full on S?
TwinkiePro2 votesGold, damage dealt(kills), and low deaths are central on marksmen in general.
In the games I received S or higher, I netted a KDA above 4.5, with 13k-23k gold with games times of 21-37 and KDAs of 19/1/9 - 29/5/17 respectively. In these games I would inflict 40k - 85k damage.
The reason I run this build is because it becomes exponentially easier to kite with Jhin, outputting more damage and recieving less as the game goes on. This in turn provides more gold and a stronger lead. Nothing is more satisfying than flashing a mastery at 620 movespeed, bombarding them with an RFC every 2 shots and 90% crit.
Also, your Jhin had 10 assist, not 20.

NekoniClaws1 votesI think if you're worried you've got someone 1st timing on a champ (maybe they're missing CS, using skills wrong, kiting wrong- or building wrong), just ask 'are you building X?' or 'what are you building?', if they don't know what they're doing they'll probably say, 'I don't know, I main someone else, what should I go?' If they don't, deal with it.
Also I think it's okay to say if they're clearly making a mistake. Double-items? Forgetting to go MR versus a full AP team (or if an AP champ is fed)? Sometimes we go on autopilot instead of reacting to the situation, and I'm only ever mad at myself if someone points it out.
Leetri1 votesOn the flip side, I hate when the enemy has like a Swain who's doing godlike because he outheals any damage we deal and I tell my team "someone who is AD should build an Executioner's to deal with Swain" and then they just ignore it and complain when Swain doesn't die. We can't even get him below 35% HP so my Morellonomicon will kick in!
