To all those who complain about Darius being buffed...

Yes he is cancer to play against yes he can be a problem but he's one of the easiest top laners to shutdown in early game, 2 early ganks is all what it takes and he is useless for pretty much the rest of the game, as for his winrate it's currently 49% across all elos so he's not OP or broken, remember that conquer was also nerfed months ago, his playrate and winrate dropped since then, and since in the pro play tanks like and recently as well have been common picks it's not unusual for riot wanting to shake things up a bit my bringing into the worlds.

there is no fucking point in bringing his soloq stats to the table

he's getting buffed because of "muhu lc$ big play$!!!!" because he has 0% pick rate in pro

For those in low elo playing against him, play Quinn and use e when he grabs you with his e. Phase rush or fleet footwork can be useful in this matchup so you get some bonus MS to avoid his q and kite him easier. And in this matchup I would recommend getting a tabi fairly early. If he catches you, you will get dumpstered as Quinn so having something to reduce damage is good.

Going electrocute and bursting him down with combos early is a good option too, and the best time to go in for any champ is when he wastes his e to try and grab you but he misses. Go in for a quick trade and back out or all in with your jungle/mid ganking

Darius, Irelia and Camille got indirectly nerfedcause of steraks change making Trigage synergy weaker. Irelia and Camille got directly nerfed too, while Irelia had nerf reverts and you want Darius to get ANOTHER buff? He had enough Q and bleed buffs this season already! So no, I disagree.

Riot shouldn't be buffing a champion like Darius so he sees play, they should be nerfing everyone stronger than he is down to his level. Darius is not weak by any measure, there are tons of champions even weaker than he is. A ton of top laners are uesless even if they don't get ganked twice, at least Darius can pull some early jungle pressure.

You are right that he is not overpowered or broken. However, riot shouldn't be going around and buffing everyone that is not overpowered or broken, that would mean buffing 100 champions and creating a huge mess.

Nerfing an overpowered champion to the level of an average one is far healthier than buffing a mid tier champion to pick/ ban.

Also, it is not just that Darius is getting buffed without needing one, riot seems to be planning to buff a ton of mid tier champions when they should just be nerfing the top tier ones.
