Why doesn't riot listen to us?

Nobody wants zyra to be balanced around support. We all want her mid and riot said themselves that she does better with the more gold she has

Riot has listened to us before on many topics and each time they really stopped to consider the communty's complaints, without fail, something breaks. Ahri and veigar were over compensated when people complain dfg's removal gutted them, lux has dominated mid lane for months on end when the community demanded e and mana buffs. And ignoring mordekaiser, the catastrophe that were the release juggernauts was the community's fault.

Riot might not do everything right, but holy shit is the community good at getting things wrong.

Her current kit and weaknesses cause her to be played as Support more often http://champion.gg/champion/Zyra

They stated in the MYMU Zyra post http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/developer-corner/xVQr7ihf-mid-year-mage-updates-zyra-direction? that if she migrates mid due to the update they'll start balancing her more for that.

How is she gonna migrate mid when they said they are gonna focus on support. Think before you speak

I did; and right now she can't control her pushing of the wave effectively, has no reliable safety-ensuring cc, has high base damages with subpar ratios, and her plants have zero survivability scaling.

---therefore she is played primarily support since it's hard for her to deal with being overextended mid and her insta-dying plants don't keep her as a threat later in the game.

There's also basically no difference between her two plants right now and the designer stated that they will address her lack of real plant choices (one of each plant is always better right now).

You're going to honestly tell me that Zyra with better plant AI and the ability to zone while controlling her push won't be better mid?

The same way lulu migrated mid(/top).

Chances are that zyra's viability(in both roles) will stay more or less the same after the rework.

Riot DOES listen. They're not going to do everything we want because it would be insanely dumb to just blindly let your player base balance your game for you.

Every freaking week the forum is complaining about a different champion for stupid reasons. Riot's not gonna go through and be like "uh oh, looks like a select group of people really hate Quinn right now time to gut her"

Funny you should mention Quinn because that's kinda what they're doing, and the only context we've gotten was in the BR forums that "she's annoying to play against" or something like that

She is annoying to play against but so are half the champions in the game.
