I'm honestly not sure if this is an intended mechanic of dashes, considering the game has blinks that are intended to go over skillshots.
Couldn't find this actually addressed / answered in another thread, so thought I'd ask.

Basically it sounds like what's happening is that the skillshot is in between their original spot and their finishing spot and hits the original spot after the dash has completed.
Hey, maybe 2017 will see them finally fix this crap. :D
