You Know, For Playing An Immobile ADC, I Don't Feel Rewarded

TL;DR: The buffs are nice but they don't address the problem. His kit still revolves around a useless passive.

Twitch I'm going to be honest here. His only AS steroid AND his only escape are both locked into a long CD Q, which is delayed by 6 seconds unless he initiates the aggressiveness. His only AD steroid is in a hilariously long CD ultimate. This leaves his early game really bad.

His end game is his time to shine, though. Kind of. Even in the LPL where comps are often built around him, he dies within the first five seconds of every fight pretty often unless his team is bulldozing. How do you imagine that plays out when your team doesn't prioritize peeling for their end game ADC?

He almost always also buys Bork and GB, giving him more CD-reliance. Unless all four CDs are up, even end game he'll be pretty mediocre. Even then it's purely for the short time his ultimate is active, which offers ANOTHER way to counterplay Twitch.

All of this evidently isn't enough counterplay. For some inconceivable reason, they nerfed the one thing his entire kit revolves around. His poison mechanic and Expunge. I thought Riot's philosophy was to not attack what made a champion unique and instead to cut off power somewhere else to present counterplay? Here all they did was take a bat to what made Twitch, Twitch. Before, he was an early game bully that scaled to late game. He needed a change, but they went overboard. The buffs are nice but they don't address the problem. His kit still revolves around a pretty mediocre passive.

Twitch got nerfed hard because of how oppressive he was. When people were using his Q named AMBUSH to RUN AWAY from ganks, it defeats the purpose of its intended use, which is why it got nerfed. Also his passive got nerfed hard as well because people were just using him like Draven(with old Draven passive) but who had an easier time getting into the correct position and a better late game teamfight.

The main problem with Twitch is his stealth and his ultimate. His Q is pretty self explanatory in that he can get into position safely and then open up on the enemy. His next problem then becomes his R, which lets him deal tons of damage onto the enemy if they are lined up. Getting that ideal scenario is hard, hitting 5 targets lined up to take all that damage, but the fact that he has the potential to do it is imo what is currently keeping him from getting buffed.
