@Riot Can't Steal Herald Buff (Muh Objective Control)
I'm
and we know the enemy is killing Herald.
I run in there as they kill it, smack dab standing right on that buff, and then it dawns on me. In all my effort to create an amazing play where our team could feel good about contesting the herald and succeeding I discovered that whoever kills the Herald is the only team that can actively pick up the buff. A buff that sits there on the ground mocking the team that didn't kill the Herald.

In Dota 2 Roshan drops buffs too Riot. And in Dota 2 anyone can pick up these buffs (as that does this thing called making sense). What that does is it creates this potential for amazing tournament plays (and we all know how much you love LCS).
Please, when you decide to put in something as ridiculous as a 20 minute buff that persists throughout death, for the express purpose of creating more objective control, perhaps think about actually making it an objective you can control in all phases including when it's sitting there on the ground without any indication that I can't grab it. Having something as powerful as that sitting on the ground wherein I can't grab it is possibly one of the worst clarity issues you've ever produced period.
Do as you say you want to do Riot. Right now you aren't.
"Why do you have to be so passive aggressive?"
Why does Riot make changes to their game and not actively consider all facets of it? Remember when the game start time decreased but
chimes didn't? It's plain incompetence on Riot's part to allow for these things.
