It's always fun to hear about the crazy ideas you guys come up with that don't make it to the PBE.
I think it was Repertoir who recently mentioned Olaf having an ability that somehow led to the end of the game? I'm assuming that was tied to his ult since it's called "Ragnarok." Could you give us any details on how that worked?
He explained it in the mega thread: when olaf hits level 18 everyone in the game gains a permanent damage over time effect that causes people to lose a % of their max hp every second.
Xerath had a thing (passive, I think) where he would level past 18.
Ekkos ult used to turn back the time on the whole map for everyone who ins't dead. This ability didn't made it into the game because things like 2 vi, zed, talon ults per fight were a bit too crazy.
Dianas e used to be her ult, channeling and dealing massive aoe true dmg at the end like a nunu ult. It was removed because it was toxic and nearly impossible to counter. http://i.imgur.com/gb3gNMe.jpg?1
Olaf's ult was supposed to be reworked to a global passive that made everyone on BOTH teams lose a % of their HP every second.
The fact that a mechanic that mind-blowingly toxic ever made it to the drawing board, has me seriously worried about the future of this game. I'm grateful Repertoir killed it off before it could take root

I think I remember someone mentioning that one of the ideas for 
's ult was a global rocket like her current ult, but instead of dealing damage it turned everyone into animals or something (like Lulu's Polymorph).

I think earlier in development 
could shorten the cooldown of his cleaver when he hit with it, and it didn't have a cap or anything. Eventually you could machinegun cleavers non-stop as fast as you could press q.
I believe Meddler stated that Syndra's W at max rank used to knock-up instead of increasing the slow duration.
I'm ready to see the cancer that actually got chopped from the game.
I'd like to see a post about the ability ideas riot has had throughout champ development that never made it into the game. Especially for older champs like 
and 
who I'm sure had a few different ideas tossed around during development.
Teemo's ult before it was scrapped was called orbital strike take that what you will.
