Can something be done about Master Yi?

Like, seriously. This champion seems out of control.

Maybe I'm just a salty bronzie who hates being smacked by Yi every game I'm against him, but I think there's a slight reason as to why he's either banned or played in every single one of my games

As far as I know, he is hardly played at all in higher elos and i don't think I've ever seen him in pro play (with the exception of the funnel strat I saw maybe once), just help us lower elo players out lmao...

Im expecting to get some hate from this, but if you'd be so kind as to not flame me for being bad at the game, and rather help me out and give me tips on how to counter this braindead champion, that would be appreciate :D

yi isnt the issue the issue is lack of experience and knowledge by lower elo players

He just seems super busted right now to me, and it has always been that way. How does one counter him? Could you elaborate on the "lack of knowledge" that we have?

yi is at best a snowball item/stat check type of champ, is he "healthy" for the game who knows. im not debating that.

yi jungle is the issue, he free farms and gets to lvl 6+ and gets items and no one can (with in reason ) 1 vs 1 him at that point.

aoe cc/cc team focus/grouping is what beats him. aoe damage is good too.

as a jungler you should look to camp him and invade him and put him behind slowing and hindering his win conditions.

its these reasons why he isnt played in PRO and isnt an issue in higher elo.

people seem to waste their cc when he ults , its just wasted . getting caught out or being low hp letting him get resets. need to try to focus him before he uses ult/alpha strike or right after he used it cuz that is when he is most vulnerable

He’s good at killing bad players. But already in gold league you try playing Yi and you get stomped unless you’re actually good.

Better players don’t randomly waste abilities, tend to have more items, and tend to be more deadly in general.

I remember playing yi and jumping on a Jhin, the guy fucked me up. He had good movements that kited me slighty, while dishing tons of damage through abilities and normal attacks.
