When does the next season start?

I really honestly would love to know because I'm sick of Bronze and I'm not going to dick around in my preliminaries again next time.

I think the season typically ends around October/November? Not exactly sure but I think it was around that time last season.

Yup just found it November 11th of this year. If you do a ranked blitz you might make Gold this season.

Historically, new seasons begin in late-January to early-February. Clearly, an official date hasn't been announced this far out, but you can probably expect it sometime around that time.

They already answered your question, but the premise is a bit flawed; your MMR is not going to be 'hard reset', but 'soft reset'. If your MMR is in Bronze before next Season's placement matches, you're going to get around Bronze anyway regardless of if you can go 10/10. You need to raise your MMR up (unless they change how it works).

Why do you say it's flawed? Once you get to where you perform consistently you'll tend to stay there with a 50% win rate, otherwise you'll gravitate towards where you belong until that happens.

Deep Terror Nami is correct. Also, don't expect to place out of bronze next season if you still in bronze this season especially at the start of the season. MMR system really isn't that flawed. Its not perfect but... like Deep Terror Nami said if you hovering around 50% you are where you belong, if not then you belong higher or lower rank depending if your win above or below 50%.

January is when it starts. season ends in early to mid November

I just hope that it will be easier to travel up and down the ranks next season. Gaining or losing v elo is a lil too slow ATM.

Also they should have our borders change with your current rank. This will encourage players to actively keep improving their rank instead of waiting till the last day of the season ( because your border isn't static rank from last season , it should change day to day depending on your current skill.
