Ahri Diana Akali and fizz.
The stats they need are on a bunch of different items you need 3 items to feel core while a zed or talon can build a hexdrinker and be core and counter you in the first 10 mins of the game.
I hope the mage update makes ap useful again because a yi with a devourer and a rageblade does more magic damage than an ap mid right now.

It's only a little bit of ap on hit once you get 8 stacks by that time you have done more true/ ad dmg
Ap dmg is calculated with respect to enemy resistance and true dmg is not

Rozair1 votesOK I main Diana. I'm basically throwing other champions in the to make my point more valid but the reason I'm saying this is because of the item hexdrinker. If they do not have magic resist yet it's basically a one shot but I have found myself climbing the ranks I'm in gold 4. Noone is stupid anymore and hexdrinker is rushed while I'm building a roa. It would be pointless for my to build an abysal because they picked an ad mid and have little magic damage while the passive is nice. I'm noticing that I'm not even close to doing the damage i normaly do. Hexdrinker mitigates a ton of my burst damage. Meanwhile there is not item that I can build to do more damage aside from void staff and even then they are going to get the sheild and I play Diana like a bruiser so I don't get an hourglass so there is no possible item I can build in this situation and I'm screwed while hexdrinker upgrades giving more Mr and armor pen on top of it. Hourglass wouldn't do anything in this situation

The Deckowner1 votesall ap assasins have some sort of unfair mechanic. ahri isnt even considered assasin anymore, she is more of a mage atm. diana mid is trash right now due to her weak laning phrase, but diana jg with runic echo? just hit one ability and faceroll rest of the buttons easy kill. lb freaking blink and back oneshot, 0 risk. fizz is just fizzically cancerous with the fucking playful trickster. akali has the worst kit u can get ever possible, every ability is basicially point and click with 3 dashes. altho she is more cancerous with the tank build.
Rozair1 votesI do think that zed ult is the most unfair mechanic ever aside from playful trickster (fuck fizz) but it's basically a 50% damage amplifier for 2 seconds. Think about it like that.
The Deckowner1 votesi honestly dont think zed's ult is that bad, it is a very unique ability that doesnt do much dmg on its own(100%ad is like 200dmg with 2 items?) and requires much more skill. there are more toxic shits than this fir example old fiora ult and master yi q.

the disgusting part of zed is weq doing 70% of ur hp as dmg and it is up every 8 sec or so with no cost.
Billy VoHagen1 votesDiana is pretty strong with runic echoes I thought (Side note, if you've never tried diana with sated devourer, i recommend it, fun as fuck) Akali is more of a tank right now. I believe ahri has shifted out as an ap assasin to more of a mobile mage. And fizz.... I don't really know, he's good when ahead, has his E, he seems ok right now.
Evenstar1 votesDiana Mid is completely viable, if not strong. With how Zed is running rampant on mid lane, and how most of the mages in meta now are still squishy, Diana can still shit on them as she wishes. Pre-6 is entirely based on your matchups, obviously, ranged mids will harass and zone you out like no tomorrow, but when Diana hits 6, the tables are turned in her favor.
With melee mids, Diana trades and zones them out efficiently. A Zed who gets all that free harass on you will feel the pain if he decides to trade within your range. That's what Diana is good at and should stay that way, her damage and ratios are balanced, she's a good anti-assassin. Against difficult targets, you'll struggle but every opportunity she gets is an opportunity for her to make big plays.
EminenceVoid1 votesI believe what would make diana an assassin (she is classified as a fighter atm) would be to give her some sort of escape. Her ult needs a target and isnt that reliable. If that isnt possible, at least let her W be a bigger shield or lower Base CD.
