Mid laners now using frost Queens and they get a free ghost on every ability cast.

I rushed this item first and was able to accomplish the Quest before my support Zyra was able to. The way to do it, is not to focus on the Quest very early (level 1,2,3, etc.) . You want to continue to play Cassiopeia as normal and farm. Now if you have control of your lane, don't push . Simply last hit your minions (with E) , and wait out the delay on your FQC. By doing this you might be able to get some stacks from FQC while farming Before completing the item. Now of course if the enemy mid laner is pushing you don't want to do this. Just rush the item to cancel the Delay. I did this and was able to complete the Quest at around 15 minutes .

For Cassiopeia I went Exhaust/ flash. Magic Pen Marks, Mana regen Seals (3.7 regen per 5 seconds), AP Glyphs, and AP Quints. FQC's active plus a single Q + frost passive will catch someone or get you out of bad situations fast. You guys have to try this man it's really good.

Hmm Sound's Like it could be viable .The additional gold you could get from it is pretty nice as well. I will try this :D

Could you explain how? With the new way tribute works you can't farm much at all, so a gold hungry midlaner has to starve themselves of farm to stack it in any reasonable time, and even once that's done, you need to proc a stack to get the boost, meaning you can only do it 3 times every 30 seconds. Seems possible but not ideal in the least bit.

Once you hit enough gold, go straight to FQC where the penalty is removed.

It'd be a massive waste of gold. You'd never get the money back in the entirety of the game that way, until you sold it. And the passive isn't that good for most midlaners, anyways (except maybe Sona, Ahri, or Ryze, since they have speed boosts in their kit)

item 3092 vs item 3165 2200 gold - 2900 gold 60 AP - 100 AP 10% CDR - 20% CDR 0 mana - 400 mana 50% mana regen - 0% mana regen gold generation and active - Grevious wounds and mana restoration on kill/assists . .

Is it worth it to lose 40 AP, 10% CDR, 400 mana, Grevious wounds passive, mana restoration on kill/assist in return for the gold generation and active and saving 700 gold? Probably not as item 1026 gives 40 AP and costs 850 gold and item 3165 also gives 10% more CDR

I don't know how valuable the active or gold generation of item 3092 would be but I don't think it is enough to make it better then item 3165

What's stopping you from getting both and getting an easy 30% cdr then a banshee veil got 40. I don't see any other cdr options unless you can use lichbane

Honestly, with the exception of a few mage who arn't completely mana starved. (Someone who could get away with 2 doran's rings) Your probably better getting that item as a secondary to Morello's. In which case you would lose a lot of the gold gen you would have gained from building it first.

That being said, the upgraded quest isn't bad on a mid laner who wants to kite, an if they want spooky ghosts, I won't stop them. But on the other end of the token, it's more invested in utility and less on raw power.
