I finally get back into playing league in general let alone ranked and of course its like the last month of the season and of course they're going to turn the whole game upside down and inside out for the new season. Anyone who's fucked around with new runes and items and all that shit on PBE have any idea how Jax and champions like him will fare?
Jax is one of the most versatile champions in the game. There's no conceivable way that the new rune system won't have something ripe for him to abuse.
PBE isn't a good place to base your judgments on how "good" a champion will be. There's too many low elo/non-competitive players there to see how things will actually play out for champions. (NOT ELO SHAMING BTW)
Jax will be even more OP. with new keystone, you deal bonus damage every 3rd basic attack. Jax's ult has same passive as well.
So yea...looks fking OP
Hello, Jax Mains investigator, we have analyzed different dps stats and we have seen different things and i came down with this tier list of keystones
1.--Press The Attack (PTA): Best of keystones on Jax it deals a good sustained damage while keeping up, keystone that you should probably go always 2.-- Grasp of the Undying: It offers a different tank jax when a titanic and Sterak will have a lot of synergy and offer you a different kind of duels 3.-- Lethal tempo:Unless you are smurfing jax and you are constant challenger you will not be using this, as this is kind of risky because the enemy can just go aways after they see the proc of Lethal Tempo.
I have a excel archive with some builds and dps tests on these new keystones. Hope you have fun with our champ because on the Jax Mains discord we see a bright future.
PS to everyone that says guinsoo memes: Dont build Guinsoo on rankeds unless smurfing please its an unreliable item that takes too much gold and unless your enemy is not that smart it will not be good.
From what I've played on the PBE, Jax has the ability to reach the attack speed cap with only two items, going with the attack speed runes (not Lethal Tempo, though, that's garbage on him. Press The Attack is amazing.) As such, Bloodrazer and Trinity Force are the only attack speed items you need on him. After that you can focus on HP or AD, which makes him so much stronger.
