Its getting retarded.

Edit: The fact that a 6 word post saying fuck mobility creep, its getting retarded was enough to get this many upvotes this fast gives me hope for the LoL community.

Strong argument and well thought out thesis.

Champions with large mobility should not ever have access to high amounts of damage. We have seen it with the Old Leblanc and with Kalista. Mobility should trade off something such as higher damage with chase potential and safety for the champion.

I didn't even need to read the post to know it deserved an upvote.

The ability to move about in cool ways can be cool.

The ability to move wherever the hell you want whenever the hell you want, invalidating a large amount of the champion pool, is just bad design.

Its why poor Veigar is getting a double nerf (Rework™) next patch. You don't have a place in league if you aren't some gymnastic, backflipping ninja. #LCSPLAYZ

Typical bandwagoning on the 3 year old bandwagon...Oh wait Riot hasn't stopped.

Itd be nice if every champion with something strong had something similar to the Yasuo passive that cuts his crit damage potential in exchange for double crit percentage. I never really understood why game companies hate doing stuff like that. You have something with a really strong presence in one aspect, so you cut down one of their other aspects to compensate, it just makes sense like wtf.

I Completely agree. Mobility creep is getting to the point where any champ that doesn't have some for of on demand mobility is never going to be as competitive as someone with it.

I 100% agree. For the past 2 seasons my main has been Zyra. She has the slowest movespeed in the game and now is becoming a huge liability to pick in this meta. Especially at my elo (D5) I can't make a single mistake without paying for it with my life.

All these new champions can make several mistakes and still be ok due to there insane mobility. At this point, champions with several gap closers/escapes need to have slower base movespeed and those with no escapes or gap closers need higher base movespeed to at least make them viable.

Another thing I don't get is why does everything have to be a dash? What's wrong with simply getting bonus MS? It's much easier to combat, and still has obvious benefits. I get that that wouldn't solve all of the issues, but I just think that blinks/Flash-esque are overshadowing possible, healthy MS boosts.

Mobility creep wouldn't bother me if they added mobility to the kits of old champs. The problem is that if you don't play a mobile champ, you tend to get left in the dust.
