I remember watching some like ooooold ass pro game where one team picked Xin Zhao Jungle and Olaf Top and the whole idea was that those two together would dive the enemy ADC/APC and squash the back line. There used to be a time where ADCs and Mages had to be terrified of that duo diving them in fights. Now they just stand their ground and spam mastery emotes while they smash them both.
The oll stameped comp, back when ADC's didnt have three healthbars and multiple ways to turn into a drain tank and assassins built full glass canon rather than tank items... those were the days.
There still are dive comps...

Also you're acting like divers have been out of meta for seasons, just earlier this season Vi/Hecarim/Lee Sin/Kha/Rengar dominated the jungle.
Mobility creep has made it so most comps have champs who can do what used to require a dedicated team.

Probably because Xin and Olaf are both bad champions. One is incredibly easy to peel and the other loses a ton of resistances when they ult
If you want a dive duo that isn't ass, you could draft a Camille/Morgana or J4/Galio. Gragas, Renekton, Zac and Kassadin are also good.
