Put my self in Bronze to see how hard of a climb is would be.

So getting out of Bronze took some work but was doable.

Silver on the other had has way more and I mean like 4x more feeders/trollers

Solo means you have 4 other chances on your team to get a feeder/troller and this happens so often you cant climb out of silver.

Their needs to be a minimum MMR that is allowed to join Ranked.

I've never been in bronze, but I was silver 2 last year and this year and I found that I just can't get out because every other game I have a feeder/toxic person who refuses to communicate and we lose the game, so my LP never actually moves anywhere it just kinda stays in the middle

Don't worry, you're not missing anything. People in Gold are just as awful and toxic. It really is just a shinier Bronze.

lol true story. i climbed to gold from bronze 5 and when i was in my series to gol dlol people were mad when they found out they lost to a noob silver player lol. then the magic ended and found out that gold was filled with boosted people and it didnt matter. like who goes ad kennen top agasint nasus, gee we lost. get my adc like 9 kill sin lane and from there he does nothing he builds wrong .....agsint a tank team he refused to buiul dlord dom and blade of the ruined king..... but then again it may have been me with my 1800 mmr .....

here's the the thing. its not hard for gold+ to climb out of bronze. however, MOST NORMAL PEOPLE DONT MAGICALY BECOME GOLD FROM BRONZE!!

they need play at GRADUALLY increasing levels. they need a season or two as silver. So the system is totally F-d

I went from B5 > S5. B5-B4 took me the longest to escape.

Theres 5 chances of a feeder/troller on the enemy team, that's not a valid excuse for not climbing, since feeders/trollers are biased in your favour (since 5 potential trolls>4).

I keep my bronze account in bronze by dodging a lot, but its cruised up through mmr and is in low gold-ish mmr from mid bronze without too much trouble. At some point I'll need to tank it's mmr again and see how the climb feels next time, but it's really something that feels easier and easier every time I've done it. (Which is most likely because I'm better myself and it's easy to climb out of bronze/silver when you're not actually bronze/silver, as opposed to it being elo hell that is inescapable due to the teammates.)

Climbed three accounts through from mid or low silver last season. Had no issues.

yeah bronze is so easy to climb out of, for some reason i though everyone in ranked was challenger level but in my 1 week push in the last 6 days before the season ended, i made it from bronze 3 with 20 lp to failing my second promos due to feeders, not people doing bad, legit people trolling typing xd everytime they died, but yeah bronze is an easy carry

Around Silver 4 and up the game changes. Players there just want to fight fight fight non stop. This means the games goes at a faster pace. Which in turn means the feeding happens a lot faster. Silver 5 and lower games are a lot slower and with the exception of a few games, the feeding is more spaced out giving you a lot of room to farm some kind of advantage which is why Bronze games are so easy to carry.

even more astounding are the hordes of players who have been bronze for FOUR SEASONS IN A ROW

I think there's a point where the players know the basics of the game and can capitalise on mistakes properly. At that point, it becomes much harder to climb in solo queue because if you get one really bad teammates, the enemies can abuse the fact and win even if you play really well.

More to the point, if both teams are halfway decent, it's much easier for one player to anti-carry the game to a loss than for one player to carry the game to victory.

If you are significantly better, you can often win anyway just by carrying hard, but there's a limit.
