I hope we get a new champion soon :)

No offense to the players who prefer reworks but from the assassin update up to today we've had only Camille Rakan Xayah join the roster whereas the reworks we have had (from big to small) since then are Warwick Galio Maokai Sejuani Zac Heimerdinger RekSai Kindred Aatrox Shyvana + Rengar Leblanc Talon Katarina if you count the assassin update. I may be missing some of the smaller ones, but my point is, that as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy reworks, the game has felt pretty stale for a long while now. The double release of Xayah and Rakan was super cool and all, but I would prefer they not be the only new champion release in the period of six months while reworks are coming out left and right.

Have to admit, nothing interesting has come out this year for my tastes so far. It's sorta depressing

I know that. I just mean to say that I hope in the near future new champions and champion reworks are more comparable in terms of their quantity. 3 new champions to 14 reworks is pretty heavily tilted toward the rework side of the spectrum for a period of 8 months.

I'd honestly be ok with it if they slowed down with the new champs coming out so often, while its cool to have the variety of champs to choose from, it just adds to the learning curve of the game for new players. Eventually it becomes a bad idea to continue to add so much / scaring off new players / bad for business because less people potentially buying RP.

just my $0.02

They already have slowed down on new champs it seems like. Plus reworks add to the learning curve for new players as well and make the game even more confusing for a new player who sees Maokai ult as a weird circle defense one day and an advancing treeline the next. Can make some feel overwhelmed that they will have to constantly be learning about the game since what they know is always being changed.
