Polymorph and Diminuendo are 2 abilities that are supposed to get the same reaction

But only Polymorph gets the correct reaction from your teammates, because it actually does something to the target when you cast it on an enemy, instead of giving a crappy green particle effect that makes the inflicted target look like they are healing with a HP pot

Please can we have a good ole clarity in QoL buff and actually makes DIMINuendo diminish the target, so people can actually see that you just made a enemy vulnerable and that people should probably attack them

It's really depressing how this quite powerful ability is set back because it does not clearly indicate that it even does anything, it's literally a wasted tool on Sona's kit just because the effect sucks, maybe a change like this would help a ton without actually buffing her.

It's a necessary change that should've already happened long ago. It'll be good for clarity, but Sona is just so bad, she can't be helped without giant buffs.

Polymorph and Diminuendo are quite different abilities. Polymorph includes a MS slow as well as making the target unable to use escape abilities, while Diminuendo only reduces damage (and still allows the target to USE abilities for whatever other effects they may have, such as CC).

Also, it doesn't actually make the target more vulnerable, so why should it look like it does?

Maybe Diminuendo could use a particle improvement, but if anything, the appropriate comparison would be Exhaust, IMO. (Which actually DOES make the target more vulnerable, in addition to the MS slow -- it has a small armor/MR shred).

In the same meaning that you made the target more vulnerable damage wise, obviously Lulu's is way better in that aspect If you use W powerchord on a high damage target, you really want your team to jump on the opportunity that they are dealing way less damage

but alas, it never happens
