This winrate is even lower than when her ult got nerfed and her E proc was removed. Who woulda thought giving an Assassin with an already long kill window an even longer kill window while making her a lot clunkier to play would plummet her winrate? Now she's gonna get buffed next patch and we'll be back to square one only now Akali players will be left with a much clunkier and less satisfying to play champion. Bruiser/Tank Akali still works decently well and AP Assassin Akali is even less reliable than she already was. 10/10 rework.

Edit: The only reason Akali isn't last is because everyone is playing Kat and because she is now a "brand new champion" so to speak her winrate is going to be low because people haven't figured her out yet which isn't the case for Akali.

She has a 3% playrate. That's not very high and she barely got any changes at all aside from flat nerfs across the board and clunkiness added to her kit so no she's not a "brand new champion" like Kat is.

Personally I think they made her into a Triforce bruiser. Those cds and her base ad are calling for it, and the phage is nice for chasing during the longer window. Her early is sooo much more harsh now though, one of the few updates with less sustain than before the update.

Wrong. People are still learning her. Winrate plummet is all yours Akali mains and even casual users trying to play her like old assassin Akali, she's like Ekko now. She's a skirmisher

Not many people are playing her despite her changes and the only real change she got was her passive which isn't really hard to get used to. Something like Kat or Leblanc is something that people have to learn and figure out, but a small scale rework like Akali's isn't. She's not even close to being anything like Ekko. If you think that, then I don't think you've played either champion very much or not at all.

A Skirmisher is someone who is going to trade well in small scale fights because they deal realtively good damage on low cool downs, and have a somewhat reliable way to get out should they start losing the trade. Ekko fits this because he pokes you down with Q, and then you get low-ish he'll engage with you and kill you with the E+W and if that doesn't go well he'll pull out with a R.

Akali does the same thing, poking you down with Q, and when you see a good window you go in with the full damage combo. If it goes bad, you have W to fall back on. STOP playing her like an all-in assassin, you CANNOT play her like she's going to 0-100 people anymore. You need to play her in the 'Chip and Execute' style, as I like to call it.

She has a poor win rate because people are still playing her like a 'true' assassin. LB and Kat still play in the same way, it just takes an adjustment to HOW you do it. Akali has an entirely different playstyle now.

Akali doesn't have sustained damage like skirmishers, ekko somewhat does, but akali can't flee nor does she have real power to take out front liners. Skirmishers are like ranged carries/marksmen where they could focus even the frontline and take them out through great sustain damage and a powerful defensive skill. While usually they'll synergize with AS+CRIT while being melee there are a few exceptions like jax, somewhat ekko, yi(on-hit mostly now), and GP(Tbh he does synergize with AA because faster barrel triggers but mostly barrel damage.)

god damnit, winrate/loyalty is the only way to graph a champion, mixing them all together will fuck with the data, her it is, 57% winrate for 51+ games and evens out at 55+, which is op in many respects to balance.

lolking has much less reliable data for winrates. The winrates you are getting from the site have an extremely small sample size compared to champion.gg that has a much larger sample size to calculate winrates. Much more reliable and accurate.

but the fact still remains, you are getting veteran AND noob akali stats averaged, she went from 1.73% to 3.55%, and seeing as that huge spike is learning curve, there is a reason there is such a downfall, champ.gg is showing Rengar Khazix are really bad after the rework while they are actually a problem point in many cases, while Leblanc has become a very abusive early game champion. give it a patch and REAL stats will come out.

P.S. top and mid are different tabs, look it up

Going Gunblade into Trinity and then tank is usually the best build. If you aren't snowballing very hard then it's better to go gunblade into a few defensive items and then get trinity a little later on. That's from my experience on PBE and on live servers so far. I haven't played jungle Akali since the rework so idk how that would work out. Always get gunblade on Akali though.

i dont wanna be the guy to say this, but try and adapt.

i felt the same way playing katarina until i got used to her and now i can't believe she has the lowest win rate, when i get fb at lvl 2-3 every game and carry most of them.

although, i do agree that they kinda fucked akali on this one..

on the brightside, akali is getting a full VGU
