Some runes seem useless(looking at you energy and exp runes among others) and some just don't seem good enough (percent health seals give .05% hp.. to break even with hp per level you need roughly 4,300). If anyone else has any to add please feel free to do so! Let's have a decent discussion about this!

Practyc1 votesThe update for the layout itself will be coming in the new client update, if i had to guess. But i don't have much of an opinion on the rune situation. Yes, some are a lot better than others, and some are almost never used (no statistics, just from experience) but I'm sure in due time they will be taking a look at the runes and how they influence the game.

1-I would like the balance team to spend a good year to look at every single rune and how they can adjust the stats to balance them out (such a complicated math system should be handled with care)
2-A new animation/picture system, something nice and fancy, the current system is so lame looking compared to hex tech crafting and the new shop
3-more options in how to organize our runes and pages. For example I personally like to keep all my ap pages next to the ap pages, and all my ad pages next to the ad pages, The fact that i have to delete every single rune page and completely redo them just so i can have it in a order that pleases me, is ridiculous. I should be able to just grab and glide, like when handling my folders on a computer.

Some new fancy animation and modernization would be nice though(Kinda like how we like a splash art and then they touch it up and make it even better).
Runes should be looked into with very much care indeed, a huge amount of play testing will be needed and on release there will be many broken rune combos.. plus some still useless ones.
Can you really hit level 2 with exp runes still? lol

Then champs who have armor pen. etc in their kit become unique which is cool... but it also makes them a huge target for nerfs

Flat armor pen makes more flat armor pen stronger, it would actually be a nerf for those champions.
But all balance issues from it would eventually be resolved in time, leaving the game in, overall, a better state.
