Riot has managed to make URF unfun...

They made it unfun when they made it random instead of actually putting the work in to make adjustments, because they falsely attribute what they think is a drop in players to URF being out, when in actuality it's because the normal game is so fucked in the first place.

Or, they may even simply be lying and leaving out the fact there's only a drop because there's a big spike when URF is out, ignoring the spike altogether.

Every champion should be unlocked for this and ARAM. It's idiotic that we have to use only champs we unlocked, meanwhile accounts with like 5 champs get to have a minimal chance of getting something bad.

I agree. URF used to be fun, back in the day. Now? Nah.

tbh it's fun if you have a 5 man all kitted out with 2 rrs every match each so there's a 15 champ pool for your team to pick from

Yes, they ruined it. If people were really leaving after getting burned out on it, then they should have done more to encourage people to play the other modes. The randomness destroyed it because too often you get a team with almost no chance of winning.

I play URF with for fun mentality so i dont really care but enabling karthus was mistake and for whatever reason he is in 90% of games i have almost all champion and still game give him to me so often i intentionaly drop him cos is super boring for me even if he is autowin. Disable him again with yi and URF we be improved by 100%

They could instantly improve URF by a hell of a lot by disabling all marksmen + Karthus.

The point of getting double AS and 25% more crit damage was to compensate for the fact that crit itemization had been gutted (rightfully) since the previous URF. However, when Riot for some stupid reason buffed ADCs they became super busted.
