MF is not as strong as people pretend she is, but still does she really need such an AS steroid?

I mean, you're not supposed to autoattack on her lategame anyway. If you get jumped on and your ult gets interrupted, you should KNOW you messed up. My suggestion is swapping the steroid for a flat attack speed buff. Aka, instead of 60, 70, 100% additional AS, just a flat value. What does this bring? She stil gets an advantage by being ahead in lane, but she can't go full hypercarry mode by doublescaling on her AS items. As a result, full ad/pen items become more valuable, and ult placement becomes more mandatory.

What about the actual values? Just get for each rank the value she'd get with just Berserker Greaves. Then if it's too weak buff it.

Sweety, if you're not using auto attacks on an ADC, you don't know how to play ADC.

Keyword lategame. Right now, tell me you use your W for anything else than towers. And you're not supposed to be particularly good at taking towers.

I classify marksman by three categories; Bursters, Hunters, and Skirmishers. Miss Fortune is a Skirmisher; the attack speed bonus duration increases each time you trigger Love Trap, and the effect holds double when you trigger the effect on champions. If you use it right, you won't need to activate it more than once during a fight, leaving you plenty of extra mana for Double Up.

I almost never rely on the bonus for taking down towers.

That is exactly how it already works. It is a flat value. That's how attack speed increases work. The bonus you get is a percentage of your base attack speed. When she activates her W and gets 40-100% attack speed, what that means is that she gets 0.2624 - 0.656 attack speed. It is 40-100% of her 0.656 base attack speed. That's always exactly the same value no matter what items you have.

What you're proposing is exactly how all attack speed increases in the game work. It is always an increase from base attack speed. No steroid outside of Kog's W increases the attack speed you get from items (and even his could be written as just being a base attack speed increase).

Right now, tell me you use your W for anything else than towers.

Um.... I do. How do you not? You have to autoattack to succeed as Miss Fortune. Most of my damage in a teamfight comes from autoattacks, not from the ultimate. That's going to be the case most games.

doublescaling on her AS items

You have no idea how AS increases work. Please do some reading.

I do not understand, the formulae and the wording are much less clear than (for example) the resistance ones. Does this mean that bonus attack speed is additive and not multiplicative? That it is always a percentage of the base attack speed?

Attack speed increases are done using the base attack speed.

Champion A has a base attack speed of .5. Getting an item with +100% attack speed increases the champion's total attack speed to 1.0. Getting another item with 100% attack speed increases the champion's total attack speed to 1.5. Then, activating an ability that increases attack speed by 100% increases the champion's attack speed to 2.0.

That it is always a percentage of the base attack speed?

Correct. All attack speed increases only give an increase based on your base attack speed. If you hypothetically had a 60% increase and a 30% increase on a 1.0 base attack speed, you'd attack 1.9 times per second.

How would a flat value on attack speed work?

Very wonky.
