Jax has always been an in or out pick

As in, he's always ridiculous based on itemization or worthless. It varies based on the patch and items. Doesn't that speak a lot about his design?

Whether or not he's ridiculous doesn't change the fact that if you really want to not only counter Jax, but be just as much of a threat late game (or more), pick Nasus.

Jax's Counterstrike doesn't block the bonus damage from Nasus' Siphoning Strike, and Wither completely renders Jax useless in a duel, since Jax relies on attack speed.

Jax E dodges all the bonus damage on empowered basic attacks since they updated it. I think it also dodges CC effects.

Not that I've witnessed in the several games I've played as Nasus versus a Jax.

My Q's bonus damage (the damage granted from the Stacks) would go through and damage him, every single time.

Fair point, but early game Jax can punish Nasus for stacking. I've wrecked some Nasus players with Jax in my days.
