Can you guys please buff baron?

24 mins in and LZ 4 man baron and kill him very quickly without even a mountain drake. It's cool teams can do baron early but should be a little more risk involved. It took them only a few seconds longer to kill baron than it took IMT to kill drake.... lol. Baron supposed to be an epic powerful creature but he is just a joke these days. Too much damage in this game need some buffs.

Alternatively, make Hand of Nashor buff scale with levels.

Melee minions taking 36 damage at 2x minutes because you can only complete 2 items is pretty ridiculous.

Or you know, nerf damage across the board so baron actually lives 10 seconds again.

It is interesting to see Baron being so easy for teams to take, but the problem is two-fold: Baron takes lead into tower takes, which means that an easy Baron translates into a lot of easy tower gold. This creates significant gold leads and map pressure. Maybe RIOT should make first Baron less impactful, but RIOT also needs to address the monetary value of towers: too much gold. Give less monetary reward for tower takes please - especially early tower takes.

I prefer to see objectives ramping up in value as the game goes on. I don't see why 20 minute Baron should be worth more 40 minute Baron. Do you?

That sounds completely ridiculous. It’s all about punishing. The enemy team got baron for a reason and they should be properly thanked for it. Either your team wasn’t prepared or died in a teamfight. League is a very high punishing and high reward game. So it only makes sense why early baron would cause such an impact.

Not like they get 1500 team gold for killing it or anything...

Exactly. The idea that Baron is "very high punishing" at 20 minutes is a joke. Teams have consistently shown that they can take Baron at 20 without too much trouble. The high reward is clear and the lack of risk is also clear. Maybe there's an argument that Baron should be more punishing to take at 20 minutes considering the reward it gives (because apparently some players just want everything to be high risk), but IMO, that view really misses the big picture.

Teams should be able to take Baron at 20 minutes (otherwise why even have Baron spawn at 20 minutes, wtf is this idea that Baron should spawn... but be too difficult to take)? Why not make sure the reward is actually balanced with the risk? And if players really love high risk plays so much, why would they object to Baron becoming more rewarding (and risky) the longer the game is played? Does it honestly make sense to say that objectives should become less valuable as the game drags on? Talk about "completely ridiculous" ...

right because the correct solution to adc's being op is to nerf baron... which is just one of multiple of symptoms of this fact

or we could you know address address the ISSUE of adc's and their op itemization and crit chance and you you FIX the problem. instead of creating more.

Please! Almost all games today finished when a team took baron ... man it was so anticlimatic . All it took to fk the careful balance was a baron

Glad I'm not the only one who felt that this was total BS

Yes, Baron Nashor is. But if you read the in-game lore, the Baron you see in SR is not the real Baron Nashor, but a weaker clone created by the SR architect from one of the real Baron's scales. So a group of champions can feasibly slay this fake Baron.

Now... if they were to implement the actual Baron Nashor... even the full might of the Noxian and Demacian armies do their best to avoid him. Like Vilemaw, Baron Nashor is basically a "god" level being that even an army of champions would struggle to beat.
