Anyone interested in a Master Yi rework? Particularly his E.
(I'm making changes to most of his kit here, but the big changes are to Wuju Style)
#General:
Base attack range increased to 175.
#Innate - Double Strike (Renamed 'Wuju Style')
-
Double strike passive unchanged.
-
New passive added: Master Yi deals magic damage on-hit, scaling with 10% AD (down from 35% bonus AD) and levels; this becomes True damage during Highlander.
#Q - Alpha Strike
-
Bonus damage to minions returns.
-
Mana cost increased to 60-90 again.
-
Instead of randomly critting, the damage is increased by 1% of his AD for every 2% crit chance.
-
New passive: Kills/Assists lower the remaining cooldown by 60%.
-
Context: Highlander passive removed. This is down from 70%.
#W - Meditate
-
Now reduces Alpha Strike cooldown by one second for every [1 - 0.5] seconds Meditate is channeled. You also get 1 second upon activation.
-
New passive: Kills/Assists lower the remaining cooldown by 70%.
-
Context: Highlander passive removed.
-
Can now only be channeled for 3 seconds, down from 4.
#E - Wuju Style (Renamed 'Wuju Strike')
Reworked
Tap: Master Yi uppercuts with his sword, dealing true damage (scaling with AD and crit chance) to enemies in front of him, and on-hit effects to the nearest enemy struck.
Hold and release: Master Yi charges his sword, and then throws an energy projectile. It deals magic damage (scaling with AD and Crit chance) and applies on-hit effects to the first target struck. If it hits a target, the projectile bounces to up to 2 more nearby enemies, dealing the same damage.
-
Similar to Pyke's Q in how it's controlled.
-
Tap-Q has 250 range.
-
Costs 60 mana, cooldown is 14-10 seconds.
-
Damage is increased by 1% for every 1% crit chance.
-
Projectile range is up to 900, bounce range is 600.
-
Enemies struck are revealed for 2 seconds.
-
Also applies Wuju Style's damage.
-
Tap-Q has 60% AD scaling, Ranged-Q has 50%. Has to be low because of applying on-hit effects, crit scaling, and true damage.
#R - Highlander:
-
Passive removed.
-
Now pauses during stasis (e.g. when Master Yi is in Stopwatch stasis, or reviving).
-
Duration changed from [7 seconds + 7 for takedowns] to [8 seconds + 5 for takedowns].
-
Attack speed lowered from 30/55/80% to 20/35/50%.
#Notes
-
Resets are nerfed to make Master Yi more consistent, and less feast-or-famine in fights.
-
Note that the passive free AD (bonus AD equal to 10% of total AD) from Wuju Style is gone.
-
Ranged projectile makes Master Yi useful in siege situations and other stand-offs. It also gives him some ranged waveclear.
