can we now admit that squish supports are outclassed by tank ones and nerf the tanks or buff squishes?? also unnerf janna, she is the only supports that can efficiently counter tank sups, that why her winrate was high.
This patch is genuinely terrible for Worlds. I was so mad when I read that 5.18 was the Worlds patch

5 games play so far. If by day 4 we haven't seen more support variance, then your argument has relevance.
I don't know about you, but mage/peel supports are still ridiculous. It's only that tankier supports fit better into more team comps currently.
Janna, Soraka, and Lulu are still great for supporting.
I think riot is actually buffing the supports.
Main reason you see tank supports is because of 
Top/Mid. Teams sacrifice damage for her so why would you want a second support with minimal gold income to have the same role as one of your solo laners? This is why the supports go tank, Good base defenses with cc.
