what trade off are mobile bruisers making

compared to juggernauts?

easier gap closing, more CC, most of them aren't that squishy (some are even tankier), and most can keep up with us in DPS output and duels

What are they giving up here?

Juggernauts have better base dmg and scalings, but they can't afford to build too much dmg, because they can't reach any ranged champion. Also tankiness -hp per lvl and armor/mr. Some of the so called fighters were made to be a melee DPS, but they can't function at all, because they get instabursted, if they are squishy - Xin, Irelia, Jax.

While divers have the mobility to ignore some defense for more damage as they can rush a Marksman before they are ridded with bullets.

Too many marksmen with dashes and you can't touch them, if they have a decent support.

Then don't 1v2 them. lol.

But in all fairness, divers are all about precision, Camille reminded of that. if you go in at the wrong time, you are stopped and shut down. but if you do it at the right time. No support can save their asses.

No, because Camile's E cancels things like Quinn's E, instead of the other way around.

Usually, defense. Let's be honest, you can't really compare Camille's W to Darius' Q, just to name an example :P

I thought it was single targeted vs AoE?

Sahn Uzal1 votes

I guess... But it's not the best example... MonkeyKing JarvanIV Hecarim

a lot of juggernauts are single target focused

Darius, Garen and Illaoi are the exceptions

Mordekaiser? Mundo's fireballs?

Big Lincoln1 votes

Mord is all about his Q, Mundo W is maxed last

primarily they are single target

I assumed Morde was more focused on his E for harass.

hehehe, you said Mundo's Fire"ball"'s

My example of a bruiser is graves and his tradeoff is that hes good at dueling but his team fighting isnt the best.

It's pretty obvious that Riot doesn't take mobility into account when balancing champions. Mobility is one of the very strongest traits a champ can have and mobile champs should honestly be gutted in some other area, preferably tankyness, in return. If you manage to stun or snare a LB or Ekko for instance, you should be able to blow them up easily.

Team Fight Potential and Durability usually

Only squishier Juggernauts are Mordekaiser and Garen but they both have some decent defensive steroids

Big Lincoln1 votes

I would rather have a Vi or Hecarim in a teamfight than either of those champions in most comps

mord especially demands a team specifically set up to make him reach his targets

Most melee bruisers are actually a lot squishier tbh. You never see a full team take 3 seconds of concentrated fire and kiting to kill a Wukong - you see them do that with Darius all the time. Darius is a lot easier to kite, though.
