Forced to support because our first pick decided to go jungle. As soon as I saw the Lee Sin autolock I knew we were in for some fun.
Lee managed to get invaded by the enemy Master Yi (yes, Master Yi) and die to him 3 times before 5 minutes. Laning phase was uneventful besides Lee feeding and our top Illaoi going 0/5 against Cho'Gath.
I didn't have to great of a KDA myself, but it just irks me that when forced into support I have to rely on others to carry me.

trash sion1 votesI don't mind, as long as you aren't absolutely terrible. Just because you saw a Lee Sin montage the other day doesn't mean you should try him out in ranked. Kinda hard to pick up that sort of slack when playing as Taric.

What I do when that happens is just deal with it and report them afterwards.

trash sion1 votesThat's the thing, it really didn't. When I say I'm a jungle main, I mean it. I spent almost all of my game time in teambuilder and always played jungle. If I had to guess, I'd say 1/10 or less of my games were in lane. Because I barely laned, I suck at CSing and positioning with marksmen and such. Support doesn't need as much positioning as other roles and there's also no CSing involved so I'm forced to either pick Support secondary or feed like crazy... and even with it as secondary I get it 9/10 games.
MotherGoose8312 votesA good support can change the game. The support controls the position of the enemy adc therefore support controls bottom lane. Sure you might not be the one getting any kills but a well timed stun or heal can make all the difference your team needs to wipe the board!

Depends. I sometimes play with a plat adc main, and he typically goes jungle or bot, where he can ruin peoples day, but there are times he has gone support because everyone called before him, and it doesn't end well because the carry lanes suck, and then he is completely unable to carry because he went on a champ that can't carry like Janna.
If you are someone like Annie, Lux or Morgana you can easily tell the adc to step aside, and that "im the adc now" and carry with brute strength but there are many times where no amount of clutch supporting will help you and I think this is where I can see the frustration.
Not to say that happens all the time though, several times we have won while I was Soraka and everyone knew that we deserved to lose, but those perfect silences and heals turned a losing game into something salvageable, and its those support games that validates the entire role for me and makes me feel like I did just as good as a job as any carry despite having 0 kills but 25 assists
WarlockLaw1 votesImo carry does not mean that you dealt the most damage but instead means you made the biggest difference in the game. The adc could be 25/1/6 and destroyed all the towers, but if the blitz hit 31 hooks that lead to kills and some of those kills lead to the towers then imo the blitz carried.
I would call the Soraka in the game you mentioned the carry as well.
