I'm wondering because the essence is taking forever to get but I already have my level 6 tokens for my main and want to know if I have to wait before working towards level 7.
Also, if it is not available, does anyone know why?
Athina3 votesThere are two parts of this system I don't like, the first obviously being that blue essence is required for it and it is really hard to get. The other is exactly this. I feel so conflicted when I score an S+ on Taliyah since I already have two level 6 tokens for her and need 12 essence for the upgrade.
Gnart Even Close1 votesi need 42 essence to rank up gnar to level 6, and have gotten several s-, so I wasn't sure if the s or s+ would count yet or not. it's really frustrating that the blue essence is what holds the system back, especially the keys. i still have like two chests and each time i open one, i earn a new one and need more keys. that new champion mastery shard for ip is going to be really nice, even though I need to unlock a bunch of champions still

redniwediS2 votesSadly you cannot. As far as I'm concerned there isn't really a good argument one way or the other over if you should be able to get them or not, so it really just comes down to what Riot decided to do.
If you got the level 6 tokens easily it shouldn't be too hard to get the level 7 ones once you rank up anyway.
