Just a reminder that Wukong ult is blocked by Fiora

Quick reminder that her W can block summoner spells ( and ) not sure if she can parry a though. One more thing I'm not sure of yet but I ulted a Fiora as Riven and her parry just made my wind slash vanish and do no damage

I'm not sure if there's anything that Fiora's W can't parry at the moment. She should not be able to block summoner spells...

Most champions have a slight element of 'bullshit' in their kit that is allowed because they're balanced.

Most likely, you're not complaining about Fiora's Riposte because it's badly designed, you're complaining about it because you feel like Fiora is broken overall. And so her Riposte aggravates you, right? It's not the ability that drives us crazy, it's the champion being overbearing to the point that we see that ability over and over and over again.

For example: When Yasuo was weak, did you hear any complaints about wind wall? Not much. But how about in the past week, since he was recognized as strong again? Absolutely.

And here's probably the best example: How about Karthus?
Why aren't you complaining about the fact that Karthus can do a targeted nuke to every single enemy champion at infinite range? Because he's balanced around it. He's allowed to have that element of bullshit in his kit because he's not overpowered over all.

Fiora is in a similar boat. She's a super squishy champion that has to get in melee range to fight. That means she has to jump into the same level of shit that Olaf trudges through, but she isn't super tanky or CC-immune. She gets one window of 0.75 seconds which, if timed perfectly, can keep her alive/moving long enough to proc her ult and survive a teamfight.

That's it. It's sort of like a mini-Zhonya's. If she mistimes it, it's very easily punishable. She even roots herself in place for almost a second just to cast it.

But please do seriously consider what I've said. Why aren't you angry about Karthus right now? Really ask yourself that. If he was extremely broken, and you were seeing him in every game, you'd probably feel pretty pissed about constantly being nuked from across the map every time you're low hp, right?
But that isn't an issue. His level of bullshit isn't bothersome because he feels balanced overall, and he has counterplay.

Fiora's Riposte does too. It can be baited out, punished, etc.

So the problem isn't her riposte. It's a cool, defining ability that gives her a high skillcap because of the amount of potential it has.

The problem - if there is one - is that you probably feel like she's overpowered. If she is, then your complaints are totally justified. But the solution is not to change her Riposte's mechanics. The solution would just be to nerf her numbers, so she keeps her unique bullshit-mechanic while not being overbearing over all.
