@Riot Meddler Any backup plans on Rengar if his W ends up pushing him into a tank/bruiser build

As soon as I saw his W changes i was a little worried about his viability as a top lane Bruiser/Tank top lane, after ekko's dominance it scares me a little for that to happen again.

Rengar item 3078 item 3022 item 3143 item 3053 item 3065 item 3047

with maybe item 3742 instead of mallet item 3102 item 3748 instead of trinity force

I haven't even looked at the new items to be added yet, I'm sure they would fit better than some items in this build

u can't fault him to go bruiser if he does because you know why go into melee range when you can play mage adc and do it from 500-1k units away.

I highly doubt it will push him to being a tank. Whilst, yes, Ekko's healing on his ultimate is a lot of the power of Tank Ekko, there's other factors to consider.

The window of damage that he heals is significantly smaller than Ekko. He does not have a shield like Ekko. He does not have anywhere near the disruption that Ekko has.

It's not though. Unlike a bruiser's combat heal it heals for damage taken PRIOR, meaning if you get tanky it'll heal much less.

If you do go tank it's useless because you'll just waste it's CD and since you take greatly reduced damage it just won't heal. Also the heal window is a moment nothing long.

There IS a bruiser version of combat healing in smite on hercules, where you activate a skill then take damage and if you survive you heal for all the damage taken, now that would have pushed a tank build. But as it stands since you heal for damage taken prior you have to skillfully select your heal point to make use of it's moderate CD.

Uh this might not make sense but you'd have to play rengar and hercules like I have to understand fully....
