Why does the enemy team get a duo?

When my team has no duo? Seriously, I just got stomped like a fucking Jew in 1940; it wasn't fun. Here is how it went:

My team has no duo Nami Jhin They have a duo Morgana Caitlyn

Jhin gets bound once, he is trapped and dies at a level 2 gank 3v2.

Jhin gets bound once, he instantly dies again.

I get bound under turret, I lose my entire HP bar after the combo and then Lee dives me.

Jhin gets bound, trapped, dies again.

I roam mid, I get bound in the fog of war- Lee and bottom lane step on my face.

Cait and Morgana had 100% accuracy to their combo, it was like Morgana was in Skype saying "I'm about to bind." And Caitlyn following up- it seriously wasn't fair, not what I would call an 'ideal' match up. So, why does ranked set people up in a duo game when the opposing team doesn't even have a duo?????
