@Riot, As someone who loves playing Shaco, I'm not fond of the Shaco changes

However, I can live with them. Maybe. I won't really know until it gets off the PBE and onto live servers. The stealth duration reduction and cooldown increase on deceive is going to hit hard, but I can grudgingly accept that because he's getting a bit more damage there. I don't really have much of anything to say on the deceive changes, but I'm watching this bit closely.

I can manage being unable to stack all my boxes in one spot, however, I extremely dislike this change as it completely guts certain AP Shaco playstyles. There's still plenty of wiggle room with the two buff camps, due to the fact that their small monsters getting removed.

Even if, and that's no small if, the jungle is getting easier to clear and making the previous monster attackspeed reduction no longer needed, I'm quite bothered by the changes to Two-Shiv Poison.

85 Base damage at max level, 10% AP Scaling and 15% Bonus AD Scaling removed for a 3-8% Missing HP Scaling that scales with level. This is a hideous nerf until lategame, which is when he's usually falling off in effectiveness. I understand the PBE's experimental nature, but this just sucks even though his Deceive got buffed damage. I ask that you give either some base damage or scaling back to Shaco, otherwise I see some highly unfortunate events where Shaco will possibly be the weakest assassin (and possibly one of the weakest junglers) in the early game.

Three large nerfs to the shiv at the same time for a 3-8% missing HP scaling that won't even make much of a difference until later game, despite Shaco's gameplay identity having mostly been an early-midgame assassin.

I have no idea why the minibox gimmick is a thing, but okay. It would've been MUCH better if it offered some sort of mobility instead. EG: A short ranged blink/dash as you clone, or a speed boost for you and the clone if you're moving towards enemies.

All in all, I don't like how Shaco is being pushed towards a more hybrid build. I liked the two different playstyles of AP and AD Shaco, but PBE Shaco seems to benefit most if he's built Semi-hybrid with a bias towards AP. I'm not exactly sure how it'll turn out, I may be wrong entirely, but I get the feeling that Shaco's burst damage build will be something along the lines of: item 3031 item 3146 item 3100 item 3089 as the four main items for burst output.

It would've been nice if Riot had communicated more closely with the players about the changes they were thinking of for Shaco, because I feel that these really missed their mark.

They've completely taken away his early pressure and given him next to nothing to compensate. Shaco already had a hard time trading his late game for a good early game but right now it feels like they just want him to have no power spike what so ever.

I mean what's the point of calling him an assassin if he can't assassinate with this kit they gave him? the change leaves him with next to no burst and the only viable way to build him is as an off tank which will still be shit since other champions could pull of a tank build far better than shaco.

Not only did they completely wipe his identity but they didn't bother giving him a new one.
