Will we ever get champion XP from bot matches ever?

Just wondering. I feel we should be able to level champions through bot matches. I have friends that only play bot games which is weird but I'm not going to judge. It would be nice tho to to get champion XP from those kinds of matches. You're still learning the champion as you play, and learning different builds. Half the time, people take champions into bot matches to test a build or see how fast they can clear jungle and stuff.

Before a new champion releases, I usually spam bot matches for quick IP, so would be nice to level that champ too... It's about time Riot makes this happen.

I mean, you hardly learn anything in bot matches in the first place, sure you can learn their abilities but, winning against bots proves little skill whatsoever.

Maybe they could have it so you can earn up to mastery 3 with bot matches but, it's called 'Mastery' for a reason, you can't master anything from bots.
