the damage she outputs is beyond retarded. please nerf her fucking damage.
support zyra hsouldnt be able to pump out this much damage. and i GET that shes a mid laner, but that doesnt mean you can take gp bot and 1 shot adcs while zoning them the entire lane with a plant.
Dude, she's supposed to have high AOE damage. Get off your butthurt horse and learn to play against her. Her tradeoffs for her damage is that she's extremely squishy and slow. Make her miss her root and she's dead. I mutilated her with Kat the other day.
Zyra doesn't need nerfs to her damage. Currently they are nerfing her plants, but that's all they think she needs right now.
Well you see her being used as a support in the pro league for a reason, she very good.
Didn't they make her midgame damage weaker unless she actively uses her passive + W plants? Yeah, I believe that was the case. Did you have an even bigger problem with Zyra before this update though? Her damage was definitely disgusting back then and was an incredibly reliable pick for having strong snowballing since her Rylais/Pen setup made her super safe and super strong provided you get the ball rolling. She still is of course but the zone control theme is present due to the new passive and is kind of important for being efficient. I may have enjoyed playing ignite support zyra at times in the past.
I honestly think she's fine outside of how her seed spawning has low counterplay when she's played as support. She can put it down and all of a sudden you can't do anything about it since standing on it is asking for you to get harassed. But it could be worse. Her Q seems harder to hit on targets that actually try not to get hit by it now and her E and ultimate have been fair since forever.
Zyra's always been about high base damage, so I would imagine Braum and Brand rub you the wrong way as well. I know I get this too, but Zyra support seems like a much more appealing opponent to me than Brand support in his prime because of the aforementioned reasons. Besides, Brand's team destroying passive is stupid for something that comes free. Well hey, it's not that my opinion on this matter is worth much.
