I am so sick of having to play the role of babysitter in ranked

Half my time in ranked now a days isn't even spent trying to play the game. Rather I'm almost always having to try and calm teamates down because they have the personality of a little child. People arguing and going at each others throats over the smallest issues such as "I called X role and didn't get it", GG FB surrender, failed ganks, failure to ward specific parts of the map, didn't get second blue, etc.

I am sick to death of having to play the role of mediator between spoiled brats who can't help but throw a hissy fit the moment something doesn't go their way. Half the time im thinking to myself how its possible they didn't get banned in the tribunal yet. Ranked honestly even about skill at this point...its about getting lucky with your teamates. Ive won constant games with teamates who are bad but dont fight amongst eachother and lost plenty of games because our carries are a toxic cesspool of teenage angst and entitlement.

Can we tighten the restrictions on ranked already? I play ranked because I want to test my strength against the best this game has to offer. I don't want to spend half the game convincing my teamates to stop arguing amongst eachother for a split second so we can get back in the game

Hell at this point i would settle for an age restriction in ranked. It wouldnt fix all the issues but it would atleast prevent me from getting whiny teenagers who cant handle not getting their role without going into a rage induced coma

In the last few days, I've lost something like 20+ games. In those losses, at least a handful were actual good, close games that we made mistakes or got outplayed. About 5-6 games had an AFK or someone who did something so bad as to make them a non-entity in the game ["LOL, AP Caitlyn mid."]

In the other 60%? We lost because I had to constantly coax an angry team mate to please not AFK at the fountain. It was a terrible experience watching as we fell further and further behind, and instead of supporting in the game, I was providing counseling on the field. "I know the jungler didn't gank for you, but right now, you could get back in the game if you farmed bottom then collapsed on mid when we bait them." Or: "Just mute Rengar, stop fighting while we're trying to play."

I don't mind losing games; some of the losses are great games that I can learn a lot from. But some games leave me with a pretty terrible feeling afterwards. I'm not even sure if threatening to AFK is a reportable offense, but it certainly feels toxic and bad for the community.

I just wish I could say my losses were games I genuinely got outplayed or outmaneuvered in. Instead i keep getting games that leave a bad taste in my mouth because I lost due too teamates level of maturity rather than skill

The problem is, even the games I win? I have no idea if we're winning because we're doing better, or if the other team is having the same problems I have when I lose. I figure after a few hundred more games, when the RNG is able to smooth itself out, I'll climb out of the depths of Bronze to where it is less pronounced, and where bad play isn't as common.

Pretty much since I fell to below Bronze 3, if I don't support, we don't get a Sightstone, for example. I know that this has just been an unlucky week or so with bad teams [the early part of when I rejoined I had lots of good teams that were fun to play with], so I just have to power through.

Just a tip, in lower Bronze sightstone is not useful.

Regardless of whether or not your team can see the team coming, they will get caught anyways.

My experience is the exact opposite; if one team has a sightstone and the other doesn't; the team with the sightstone wins significantly more than often.

Makes me sad that it's still that way up in platinum tier... Oh well. People are people, after all.

Man, I don't know your age, but the sad thing is that age has nothing to do with it. PLENTY of adults never learn to behave any better.
