"Warwick Changes are ice-boxed"

Oh really? This champion, so notoriously bad that everyone knows the "Who is warwick before lvl 6" joke? Even after lvl 6, all you have to do is press R on people then go back to auto-attack and Q in the jungle... or run at people as a steroid-bot with two legs.

What is being prioritized ahead of this?

Poppy, Taric, Yorick... all these champions actually have multi-faceted gameplay.. Warwick literally does nothing but auto-attack, evident by the fact that he's only ever popular when broken items like Feral Flare or old Red Smite and Devour exist. Becaues that's all he can do after pressing R, and even then your R may easily be countered if a carry bought QSS

Thanks for nothing, putting all this time and effort into "fixing" champions that don't need it that badly, while "champions" like Warwick exist for YEARS in a defunct state

Warwick isn't bad, lol.

He has little pressure before level six, but his ganks with his ult are arguably the best in the game, and a near guaranteed kill.

His kit is an incredibly binary mess though, and he does need a rework. Warwick isn't given as much priority as Poppy or Yorick because he's generally not considered to be as bullshit to play against.

Isn't warwick just one of those champions that are meant to help newbies through the jungle? I mean that's why I first picked him up

Yorick and Poppy are endlessly oppressive. Warwick at his prime with Feral Flare didn't come ANYWHERE near how oppressive as near as these two.

From the start of the game until the end of the laning phase, laning against a Yorick is incredibly unfun for 99% of champions. And then it's just meh for that 1%.

Poppy has a passive that cuts all non-true damage by 50% if it exceeds 10% of her current HP. Then she has a targeted damage steroid ult that makes her invulnerable towards everyone else.

I don't really get it, how is Yorick worse than any other lane-bully champion? And if they're so good, why are they never played? I can't comment on Poppy but Yorick is pretty fun to play as. Most I cna ay about Poppy is that her Ulti is not very fun and mostly confusing...

but none of this is as stupid as Warwick.

Yorick is pretty fun to play, yeah. But not fun to play against. He makes it into one long tower farm fest for any champion that can't out sustain him or bully him before he gets his big sustain up (Very few can do this outside of the juggernauts >_>)

And Poppy isn't really fun to play, her gameplay is as binary as WW while being less fun. You charge into enemy team, kill one squishy, leave. She's just a walking lump of cancer that isn't very fun to play as and is unfun to play against.

The biggest reason strong champions like Galio, Poppy, Yorick and Urgot aren't popular is because they're either binary and unfun to play as or against (Poppy), Ugly (Poppy, Yorick, and Urgot) and downright underrated. (Galio)

I just tried poppy again and yeah, not fun outside of "I can burst", I didn't even really care about the passive

However I still think people are exagerrating Yorick's lane dominance, he HAS to build a Tear. It's hard to dominate the lane if you don't go HAM on Mana regen, which means you lose combat stats and can get outscaled before you have a chance to become really strong.

Those other champions need reworks badly. That said, Warwick's rework being ice-boxed really illustrates how low a priority reworks of old, out-dated champions are to Riot.

Maybe, but Warwick's reasons are much bigger

I never want to see Warwick be a good pick again. Whenever he is strong, he is cancer.
