You know what Yasuo's problem is? Hes frustrating.

Because of his in-your-wave mobility youre never really safe. The last round of nerfs was a good step as someone who has to play against yasuo, but it didnt deal with the crux of the frustrational gameplay. This isnt a thread to say yasuo is OP or broken; hes overloaded yes, but he's fairly balanced except for his wind wall.

Yasuo's windwall is a 0 skill panic ability thats a dota 2 level hard counter ability. It needs changes, but it needs changes in such a way that yasuo is rewarded for using it properly. To that effect i have a suggestion; Make his wind wall slow down projectiles. 50/60/70/80/90% missile speed of projectiles which pass through it. As a defense tool the current wind wall is immaculate; by making it instead slow down projectiles instead of eating them entirely it becomes a skill based ability with unique interactions that allows yasuo to ACTUALLY outplay someone, not just tornado R because you blocked their rotation with a no skill ability.

... Alternately remove the skill entirely and replace it with his flow shield that has the current passive component (this would require a buff by the way), and when activated gains a shield that reduces the damage of projectiles by up 52/64/76/88/100% of projectile damage based on how much flow he has (100 flow = up to 100% of the value) when its activated.

The wind wall has a very long cool down and blowing it at the wrong time forces him back up lane and away from CS or forces him to risk serious harass....Any alterations to it would pretty much break him. Due to the split second use and how close it is to him when used merely slowly the projectiles would still guarantee a hit, especially on AAs.

If they touch wind wall they might as well delete him from the game. In his current state a single stun can get him killed. You never see him in Pro play because honestly he is extremely weak. His only real strength is tilting his lane opponent who only remembers the good Yas players because that is how psychology works. You remember the bad and I think the equation is that it takes 6 positive memories to counterbalance a single negative one.

Yas is pretty balanced. Bait the wind wall(Which is easy) and then punish. Save any CC until he dashes in and after the wall is dropped. Most people just panic when he goes flying around and fail to maneuver out of the way of is 3rd Q.

The problem with yasuo IS NOT that hes strong. Its that hes FRUSTRATING - you know overwatch right? You know of the debacle surrounding Roadhog? Hes been nerfed into the ground BECAUSE HE WAS FRUSTRATING.

Nerfing around the bush helps no one and alienates the community - You need to change whats frustrating and NOT change around it. In yasuo's case it is the wind wall thats frustrating; therefore THAT is what needs to change. Yasuo has his flow shield, in other champions that ALONE would be enough of a defense mechanism.

He's popular. Frustrating to play against, high mobility when minions are available for him to dash through. A bullshit windwall that can block things every though you think its not within wall range. A 50% armor pen ult with low cd(idc if it's only crit, he gains double crt chance), can poke melees easily. Not everyone in low-mid elo have junglers who know how to pressure yasuo, people screw up.
