Context of the Swain Nerf : A swain main since season 1's analysis..

This is the wrong place to hit Swain's power. I will be the first person to tell you that he is currently a bit strong as a duelist, but his initial CC on his W which is already gated by a reallllly long cooldown is not the place to hit him.

What led to this decision being made?

An 18 second CD at level 1 should be impactful, at the very least. 1 Second isn't even enough time for swain to walk up to his target and combo it in any non-1v1 scenario. It reduces his ability to peel for his ADC and backline when he falls behind. This makes the champion even more feast or famine than previously.

Again this is a pretty large change. 1.5 second snare at level 1 would be a more appropriate nerf point.

RoA Takes longer to complete, Zhyona is overnerfed at its price point, and swain has no innate waveclear or escapes. Why is his CC being taken from him?
