Why does Zhyona Cancel Taliyah Q?

I mean, Aurelion Sol's passive is stopped by stuns, but not by Zhonya's. Seems even more backwards that Taliyah's Q is stopped by Zhonya's but not stuns.

I'm pretty sure they used the same coding as they did for lucian's ult (obviously changing the actual animation etc), and lucian's is stopped by zhonya as well. The my guess

because this is riot here.. nothing is allowed to make sense

(and yes, i know it doesn't actually stop any of the things i listed.. that was the point....)

It invalidates the item, and the outplay it could potentially have when every other champion is allowed to continue their channels. :(
