Can we actually TRY to balance Swain?
Pretty difficult to still want to be a swain main in his current state. We should be increasing the skill cap, which in turn increases the viability of the champion. His damage is currently too high and too guaranteed to ever be pushed into a state of viability.
The champion is too strong when he's ahead due to his lack of skill shots, and then his CC was gutted during the same patch that deathfire was nerfed for DoT effects.
He's not the most popular champion but he needs some QoL. I've been maining him since release and here is what i think needs to happen.
- E's Damage and CD Reduced. Turned into a skill shot, which can stack with itself to inrease the value of his damage amplification, to a cap.
*Passive changed in some way to reflect his new(er) kit. The damage amplification could even frontload onto his passive to stack with all his abilities, up to a cap. This could free up some room elsewhere in his kit.

Q can remain the same, or turn into a skill shot tether, that walks with swain instead of remaining stationary.

R Remains the same
*W retains its nerf
All the items and changes that have been introduced in this season are just leaving the swain train at the station.
